While the soup is heating, layer the slices of toasted bread in a casserole. When the soup boils, pour it into the casserole with the bread and enrich everything with a sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano or Gruyère. Resist the temptation to indulge, because the soup will tempt you, just a few more minutes. Place the casserole in the oven for about 8 or 9 minutes at 190°C and then your soup will be ready to be served.
If you don't use all the contents of the jar, remember to close it well and store it in the refrigerator.
