The Ossocolo (it's spelled with just one 'c'...) is a typical salami from Verona, and as we know, the Venetians never use double letters! It is a cup that has been mixed with salami paste, which can be seen in the mass of the cold cut. This mixture allows for a softer meat from the cup and a more pronounced seasoning.
