The nuts provided by Sa.Ma. Frutta come from Venice, more precisely from Eraclea, and are harvested from Tenuta La Spiga. In this corner of the countryside of Eastern Veneto, close to the sea, in an untouched scenic context just a stone's throw from the lagoon of Caorle, the estate produces and collects top-quality nuts.
This is a very special variety: it is called Lara and has a more delicate and sweet flavor compared to other types of nuts.

The Lara nuts from Eraclea are delicious! Sweet and rich in flavor: perfect for crunchy caramel, to top desserts, for delightful granolas, and for fabulous ice creams. High-quality dried fruit that brings crunchy sensations to the palate! Great also for pestos to use with Gragnano IGP pasta or egg tagliatelle. They can also be paired with dessert wines made from white grapes or with chantilly cream.
