The intorchiate dolci are a typical dry pastry from Puglia. They are also called tarallo dolce and are made with the most characteristic ingredients of Puglia, flour and almonds. Intorchiate are sweet treats that were traditionally prepared in Puglia for celebrations or for hearty breakfasts.
The product is made and sent fresh, which is why it is available by reservation. Its shelf life is approximately 3 months, ensuring appropriate use over time while maintaining its fragrance.
The intorchiate are very simple products from the Apulian tradition made with sugar, wine, extra virgin olive oil from Puglia, and flour from the Murge. The decoration is done with toasted almonds from the altosalento area. The flavor is not very sweet, well-balanced with a distinct sensation of oil and almonds. A pleasantness that pairs well with sweet dessert wines, although it prefers sweetness over outright sweetness. The ideal pairing would be Cartizze Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG or a sweet sparkling Moscato d'Asti.
