Vialone Nano Selection Rice 500g

The Vialone Nano rice from the Stoppato company grows in the Mantuan plains. The rigorous production standards and the greater selection in processing guarantee the authenticity, fragrance, and excellent culinary yield of this rice.

It is specifically characterized by being grown in irrigated areas with spring water, essentially its production area coincides with the upper hydrographic basin of the Tartaro River. It is one of the most appreciated rice varieties.

 

CHARACTERISTICS

 
The Vialone Nano is a unique rice that contains three types of starch that spreads evenly throughout the grain when cooked. Its balance between outer fibers and starch is one of the most significant among the most common varieties in Italy. This is why it is chosen by numerous chefs when they want to prepare creamy risottos.
