This Rebo biologico from 2014 carries with it all the beauty of Lake Garda and is one of the flagship products of the Pratello Agricultural Company in Padenghe sul Garda.

An intense red wine, dense and compact with generous floral aromas showcasing grapes matured in the countryside, of great natural intensity and good plant density that only organic farming can provide.

FEATURES

Composition: 100% Rebo. Cultivation: at an altitude of 180 meters, on the Moraine hills of Lake Garda where it enjoys ideal exposure and a constant ventilation that allows for perfect maturation. Soil: morainic, very loose and pebbly with clay. Processing: skin maceration for 30 days; after racking, it is aged in wooden barrels for 12-14 months. It is then bottled and left to rest for 6 months in the bottle. Alcohol content: 14°.

The combination of this Rebo IGT BIO Mille1 2014 is multi-faceted, meaning it can be paired according to personal tastes, occasions, and current availability: cold cuts, fish soup, pasta with tomato sauce, or ragù made from meat or game; red meats or veal grilled or pan-fried, couscous, braised dishes or lamb chops, baby squid in red wine, mixed fried Piedmontese style; in short, delicate or robust dishes depending on one's tastes and budget. Perfect also for sipping before and after meals.

TASTING

The color is intense purple red, almost blood-like, dense, compact with chromatic shades reminiscent of black eggplant skin, occasionally veering towards violet. On the nose, there is an invasion of floral aromas such as cyclamen, violets, and elderflower, followed by sensations of grapes, blackberries, and plum jam. On the palate, intense flavors of cherry, blackberry, and red currant; with force, the morenic fruit emerges with a final taste of silky sweetness. Serve at a temperature of 18°C in a wide closed tulip-shaped glass.
