Rebo IGT BIO Black forever 750ml

This Rebo biologico from 2012 carries with it all the beauty of Lake Garda and is one of the flagship products of the Pratello Agricultural Company from Padenghe sul Garda.
 
It is a deep ruby garnet red wine with purplish reflections, featuring a very pronounced aroma of ripe red fruits. It offers important sensations of natural intensity that only BIO cultivation can provide.
 

CHARACTERISTICS

 
Composition: Rebo 100% hand harvested. Cultivation: at 180 meters above sea level, on the Moraine hills of Lake Garda where it enjoys ideal exposure and a constant ventilation that allows for perfect ripening. Soil: morainic, very loose and pebbly with clay. Processing: 30 days of grape drying in boxes; 30 days of maceration on the skins; once separated, it is then aged in wooden barrels for 50% of the total mass for 10/12 months; bottling rest for 12 months. Alcohol content: 15.5°.

The pairing of this Rebo IGT BIO "Nero per sempre" 2012 is multi-composed, meaning, according to one's own tastes, occasions, and availability of the moment: cured meats, game, grilled or pan-seared red meats, couscous, braised dishes, or lamb chops, mixed fried dishes from Piedmont; in short, hearty dishes according to one's own tastes and budget. Perfect also for sipping after meals.
 

TASTING

 
The color is deep garnet ruby red with violet reflections; clean and with a generous body, it shows its extracts with a tight and full-bodied glyceric mass that clings to the glass. On the nose, it is an invasion of ripe red fruit aromas, nutmeg, cinchona, fresh pomace, followed by sensations of grapes, blackberries, and plum jam. On the palate, it is enveloping: grape, then cherry, blackberry, currant; with boldness, the Morenic strawberry emerges with a final taste of silky sweetness. A wine of character and great balance between sweet, salty, acidic, and bitter. Serve at a temperature of 18°C in a wide, closed tulip-shaped glass.
