The Femminello Siracusano Lemon Marmalade by Frantoi Cutrera is produced with typical lemons from Syracuse, known for being very rich in essential oils. A marmalade that brings the true flavor of Sicily to your breakfast table!
The Cutrera family, to obtain this extraordinary artisanal marmalade, cooks the fruit in a low-pressure and low-temperature pot (60°C) to preserve the nutritional characteristics and natural aromas of the lemons. This allows the marmalade to have an enveloping fragrance and a balanced taste between sweet and the characteristic bitterness.
The Femminello lemon is an important cultivar, also known as Syracuse IGP Lemon, and it is one of the most representative in Italy. An interesting fact: the name "Femminello" comes from the high fertility of this variety of lemons that blooms throughout the year.
The Marmalade of Femminello Siracusano Lemons from Frantoi Cutrera has a wonderful flavor on a slice of warm, crunchy bread. It gives you energy at breakfast, for a snack, or just as a simple bite. A heavenly combination is that between this marmalade and goat cheeses! It’s also worth trying mixed with a bit of crushed ice: it will be a real surprise!
