The Blue Oolong Walnut Tea from Peter's Tea House is a Chinese Oolong from the Fujian region, composed of crunchy hazelnut, pieces of coconut, candied pineapple, pieces of walnut, almond flakes, and aroma.
The term Oolong means Black Dragon or Black Snake, and it is also called blue tea or qing. An ancient legend tells that while the owner of a tea plantation was visiting his property, he saw a black snake. He was so frightened that only after a few days did he have the courage to return, and he noticed that the leaves had oxidized in the sun. From their infusion, he obtained a delicious beverage.
The Blue Oolong Walnut Tea has a truly intense and unique flavor.
A real delight to be enjoyed pure, perhaps without sugar or with a teaspoon of honey.
Excellent for consumption at breakfast or in the afternoon for a break together with dry cookies with dried fruit or chocolate sweets.
Preparation: steep one teaspoon of Blue Oolong Walnut Tea in hot water for 1-3 minutes.
