The Blu Gins from La Casearia Carpenedo is a work of art that marks the 50th anniversary of Antonio Carpenedo's activity. Born from an original idea, that is to pair cheeses with cocktails: this is how the collaboration with Roberto Marton, a producer from Treviso of a great Gin for true connoisseurs, the Roby Marton Gin, which is also very much appreciated abroad, was born.
Blu Gins is the result of a path of research and strong innovation that the Carpenedo family has pursued for two years, between aging trials and tastings. And here is an intriguing blue cheese made from cow's milk that perfectly pairs with one of the most beloved spirits in the world. The name Blu Gins crowns a product that aims for contemporaneity and innovation in flavor.
Blu Gins is a blue cow's milk cheese aged in gin: a combination, that of Gin and cheese, which is not only a perfect duo from a sensory and gastronomic point of view but also represents the fusion of cultures, of stories and passions that express the desire for pleasure and beauty. Blu Gins is dedicated to those who do not love banality, to those who dare at the table and in life.

The Blu Gins from La Casearia Carpenedo (which we present here in a 300-gram portion) captivates the palate with its aromatic expression, typical of Gin, which finds an ideal accompaniment in the creamy cheese. The herbal notes are elegant and subtly spicy, with slightly peppery undertones and a finely alcoholic sensation. A meditation cheese, best paired with a Roby Marton Gin for a definitive match. Excellent for tasty appetizers or a delicious risotto. An #unconventionalcheese for creative #unconventionalfood.
Blu Gins is wrapped in a brilliant packaging that resembles a pocket made from original denim fabric. The pearly white of the form is dotted with crust blooms in a delicate turquoise-green color. When cut, one can appreciate the compactness and homogeneity of the blue veining and the particular creaminess of the paste. It does not form droplets like more common blue cheeses but the blue veining remains imperceptible and gently fused into the paste, thanks to the action of Gin. The infusion of Gin into the paste significantly influences the aroma of this creation. Between sensations of fine aromatic herbs and floral pleasures that blend with the characteristic aroma of the blue cream. Sweet, elegant, fine, and definitely intriguing.
