The Raboso is the most famous native grapevine in the Piave area. Among the intrinsic characteristics of great aging wines, such as color tannins and acidity, strong aromas of blackberries and cherries come together. The proximity of the vineyard to the sea and the Dolomites, its dense vegetation, and the clay-rich soil provide the wine with a robust body and harmony.

The Piave Raboso DOC 2011 presents itself as ruby red, with intense brightness and garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers sensations of blackberry, marasca, blonde tobacco, with a light and pleasant hint of underbrush.

In each cluster of Raboso del Piave, there is the entire millenary history of this grape variety and its relationship with the territory of Marca Trevigiana.

Cultivated for over three thousand years, it represents a reference not only in winemaking but also in culture: just think that when a child was born, it was tradition to keep the Raboso produced that year for their wedding day.

Harvested at the end of October and dried in fruit drying rooms, it ages in barriques for thirty-six months, during which it takes on the traits for which it is known: fruity character, strength, and harmony make the Piave Raboso De Stefani a powerful wine destined for a long future.
