The green beans we present come from Emilia Romagna farms. The very fertile soils of the Food Valley allow us to obtain this genuine and unmistakable product. Ours have been selected by Sa.Ma. Frutta: a guarantee of high quality!
These Sardinian green beans are a very fresh product, rich in flavor and purifying properties for our body: they contain large amounts of vitamins A and C, minerals such as potassium, iron, and phosphorus. They also contain a lot of calcium and silicon and have significant antioxidant properties that help our body rid itself of free radicals. The flavonoids also protect us from inflammation and help with blood circulation.
The Emilian green beans from Sa.Ma. Frutta (which we present here in a quantity of 3kg) must be cooked because they contain phaseolin, a protein that can be toxic if not broken down through cooking. Steaming is recommended to retain the vegetable's organoleptic properties. They are excellent as an ingredient for trofie with green beans, potatoes, and Ligurian pesto; or to prepare a light lasagna with vegetarian béchamel.
