The BIO white peaches from Verona with fuzz are the softest, juiciest, and ready for tasting. They are ideal for making jams and compotes, thanks to their good acidity and sugar content. They offer very intense and typical aromas in jam, perfect for making fruit tarts and French clafoutis. They are also interesting to accompany syrupy ice cream.
We also recommend them at the end of a meal, sliced with a bit of Sicilian lemon or Sorrento sfusato. In a fruit salad, they are excellent together with apricots.
In Veronese tradition, peaches were cut in half, the pit was removed, and an amaretto was placed in its place with a drop of acacia or wildflower honey, then they were placed on the hearth in an aluminum tray.
