The beer Diletta from Birrificio Magis is a delicious Kolsch, soft, slightly sweet, fruity, and well-balanced.
Diletta beer is a unfiltered, unpasteurized, high-fermentation craft beer with a golden color, fresh on the palate and well-balanced thanks to its delicate character that presents pleasant fruity and hop notes.
The first traces of what would be called kolsch can be found as early as 874 AD, and by 1250 there was already a brewing office in Cologne overseeing its production. Considering that the German production landscape is mostly low fermentation, we are faced with a sort of production rarity.
These are the characteristics that distinguish this type of beer: white foam with a good persistence, golden and clear color, malty aroma with hints of honey and hops, well-attenuated and dry taste, medium to medium-low body, and noticeable carbonation (the bubbles, which in wine is called "perlage").
Ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, yeast, and sugar.
Alc. 4.8% vol.
Ingredienti: acqua, malto d’orzo, luppolo, lievito e zucchero.
Alc. 4,8% vol.
The Diletta craft beer from the Birrificio Magis in Desenzano is a full-bodied and sweet Kolsch that pairs well with snacks, canapés, and more generally with appetizers. It should also be noted that in Germany, since Kolsch is a style of German top-fermented beer, it is served to accompany pork knuckle.
