The Rosso Veneto IGT 2016 by Del Rèbene is a great red from a great vintage, and this time, unlike the 2015 vintage, it is made only with Carmenère grapes.

Harvest: manual in mid-October
Training System: Guyot
Soils: red clay and marine limestone
Vinification: the Carmenère grapes fermented with spontaneous yeasts, on the skins, for 19 days.
Aging: the wine was aged for 12 months in French oak tonneaux and then bottled, in our cellar.
Alcohol Content: 13.6% vol
pH: 3.51
Total acidity: 5.2
Dry extract: 29.2
The Rosso Veneto IGT 2016 by Del Rèbene is excellent when paired with red meats, game, cold cuts, and aged cheeses.
Dark ruby red wine with garnet reflections, it is ample and complex on the nose, with notes of violet, berries, tamarind, black pepper, and licorice.
On the palate, it is full and juicy, with a well-integrated tannic structure and a pleasant taste balance.
Long and intense finish of great elegance.
