Il Frantoio BIO EVO Oil 750ml
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Il Frantoio BIO from La Basentana is obtained exclusively from olives sourced from the organic farms of the Lucanian company in Calciano, Matera.
Variety: Frantoio, Leccino, Majatica.
Harvesting and production methods: the olives, strictly handpicked from the tree, are brought in perforated crates to the company mill, where they are processed within 4 hours of harvesting.
The olives are de-leafed and washed, then crushed under granite stones, malaxed in a controlled atmosphere at 24° C, and extracted using a continuous cold method.
The oil obtained is stored in stainless steel tanks, filtered after natural decantation for a few days.
Chemical and organoleptic characteristics: the care taken in the various stages of harvesting and transformation gives this extra virgin oil a Premium quality.
Acidity: 0.13% (oleic acid)
Peroxide value: 5.1 meq O2/kg (meq of Oxygen)
