The Salty Gastronomic Panettone is produced with the finest raw materials selected according to precise criteria. The sun-dried tomatoes from Controne, for example, are a special variety grown at the foot of the Monti Alburni that, thanks to the mineral-rich soils, acquire a very delicate sweet-and-sour flavor. The taste of the Salty Gastronomic Panettone is further enhanced by the savoriness of Taggiasca olives and anchovies from Cetara. Territoriality and authenticity are the ingredients that complete the recipe for this salty Christmas panettone produced in the workshop run by Master Pastry Chef Michele Somma.
The dough made with sourdough enhances the ingredients used, amplifying their aromaticity and characteristic scents. All of this is confirmed by the fact that this salty gastronomic panettone was awarded first place at the "Una Mole di Panettoni 2019" competition in Turin.
