For the production of this Rosso Conero DOC 2017 produced by Poggio Montali, the use of spurred cord training systems is crucial, as well as the first green harvest carried out after veraison towards the second half of August, in order to optimally lighten the load of grapes on the vine to optimize good polyphenolic maturation. Yields per hectare do not exceed 70 quintals of grapes.
The wines of Poggio Montali are born on the hills of the Castelli di Jesi, in Monte Roberto. It is one of the first wineries established in the Marche region, boasting now twenty years of history. Everything began with an intuition of Carla Panicucci, who discovered a beautiful farmhouse among vines and olive trees at the end of a road shaded by ancient oaks. With courage, Carla started her winemaking activity, aware that the soil was perfectly suitable, and she achieved great success. Now that success has transformed into excellence and tradition.
