This Soave Superiore DOCG Monte San Piero from 2020 produced by the Sandro De Bruno winery, grown on the volcanic hills between Roncà and Montecchia di Crosara, in Verona province. Thanks to the volcanic soils that host the vineyards, the grapes convey very pleasant mineral and savory notes. The aromatic bouquet is complex and enticing: we find ripe and dehydrated exotic fruit, sweet spices, fragrant notes of baked goods, mineral, toasty, and balsamic hints. A great aromatic evolution accompanies the warm and enveloping sip, significantly balanced thanks to the freshness and savoriness of the finish.

Soave Superiore docg Monte San Piero Sandro De Bruno: experiment and dare in the kitchen
A soft and mineral wine; complex and elegant, structured yet balanced, which allows for experimentation and daring in the kitchen. It is recommended to pair it with fresh produce, first courses and dishes such as pumpkin and smoked ricotta tortelli, bigoli with duck ragù, mushroom crepes, Lessini truffle flakes, and Monte Veronese mousse or with dishes like baked turbot in an aromatic herb crust or alternatively with ethnic dishes such as curry chicken bites with basmati rice, rabbit alla Cacciatora, or stuffed capon baked in the oven.
This Soave Superiore DOCG from 2020 produced by the Sandro De Bruno winery presents a golden yellow color leaning towards antique gold, with great consistency. The olfactory impact is opulent and intriguing, of great complexity and persistence. Aromas of dehydrated apricot, ripe exotic fruit, date, and bitter almond. Mineral notes of gypsum and flint, orange blossom, jasmine, and chamomile. White pepper and sweet spices, cinnamon, curry, and licorice. Toasted hints, followed by aromatic herbs, thyme, rosemary, and cedar resin. In the finish hints of pastry cream, barley candy, and balsamic nuances. The taste is warm, enveloping and savory.
Serving Temperature: 10/12 C°
