Ideal cheese for appetizers and typical starters. It is also used for stuffing lasagna and cannelloni.
Great for gratin vegetables and grated on pasta and risottos.
This cheese represents the middle ground between a fresher Monte Veronese, with a more delicate and pleasant flavor, and a Monte Veronese aged 12-18 months, which is much more intense.
More intense in aromas with a lovely sensation of yellow flowers, fresh milk, and a nice balance on the palate.
It pairs well with red wines such as Valpolicella and Valpolicella Superiore.
It is also excellent with delicate and spicy Bardolino, as well as with structured and slightly soft white wines. It is also great with Durello Metodo Classico for a very typical pairing.
