Tesa Organic Bacon 1.3 kg

This particularly fragrant and spicy cured meat is obtained from the lean ventral part of the pig. It is simply salted, peppered, and wrapped in other spices of particular intensity. The piece is left to mature in its original shape and that is why it is called tesa. It can be used sliced thinly in sandwiches, diced for succulent omelets, or to wrap lean meats before cooking. Pedrazzoli produces it particularly sweet and spicy and particularly elegant despite its total simplicity and tradition.

Salumificio Pedrazzoli, Lombardy

Pedrazzoli has been the first salami factory in Italy to produce BIO. Since 1996, it has added this segment, which becomes increasingly important each year. Cereals and food products come from organic farming, open space farming, drastic reduction of preservatives, GMO free, and limited intake of salts and fats. The entire production is particularly suitable for the diet of celiac patients and the dietary needs of intolerant individuals. Many of these cold cuts are listed in the national pharmaceutical handbook for celiacs.

The Bio Primavera line was awarded in 2013 in Paris with the prestigious Good Pig Honorable Mention during the Animal Welfare Awards. The ceremony featured the entire European market, and Italy was represented by the Pedrazzoli family. The Good Pig Honorable Mention was awarded for “the commitment to the welfare of sows, demonstrating how it is possible to make choices that promote the welfare of animals.”
