Organic pearl spelt 500g

Do you remember the fertile crescent? That vast territory in the Middle East that has given birth to important products still contemporary and essential today. Well, about 8000 years ago, this ancient species of spelt was produced, known as Spelta. Triticum spelta has a shape very close to that of soft wheat and contains a significant amount of gluten and especially fibers. Spelt, in general, is naturally resistant to weather agents and pests. This results in the complete absence of synthetic pest control treatments and fertilizers. It is rich in protein (14%) and vitamins A, B, C, E, minerals, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, manganese, and fibers that aid intestinal peristalsis and thus facilitate the digestibility of the product.

Organic pearl spelt 500g: How is it produced

Antico Molino Rosso, Veneto

The sweet little boat resting on the Menago stream welcomes all those who arrive for the first time at the Antico Molino Rosso by Gaetano Mirandola. A captivating image that gathers the essence of this beautiful organic reality of producing high-quality flours and cereals. The water, the earth, the man. The virtuous triangle that generates life. Gaetano Mirandola has always been recognized as one of the most active and important ambassadors and communicators of BIO value in Italy. Starting from the province of Verona, from lands unknown to most, with a centuries-old cereal vocation among ancient riverbeds, produced by the old paths of the Adige and its branches in ditches and streams that have served local populations and their crops. Those lands of low Verona were once filled with many mills, and even today there are important testimonies such as the Molino Rosso. In these places, Gaetano Mirandola created a company laboratory of ideas even before a true dusty mill of flours and cereals. Here, his idea of dietary balance, based on knowledge, was born. A value that concerns not only his company but especially those who operate on those lands to produce in a healthy and responsible manner, respecting the environment and its integrity. A strong action of raising awareness and communication towards cereal-producing companies, bakers, and all the artisans who worked with those flours. An effort that has borne fruit and has now changed the way operators and, increasingly, consumers conceive the quality of products from the mill. When you buy a Molino Rosso flour, you participate in a process of environmental, economic, and productive sustainability. All while respecting human rights and the cleanliness of creation. Gaetano Mirandola has accustomed the world of communication to talk about biodedicated companies, that is, realities that produce only what they can based on the seasons and what Mother Nature provides each year. There is nothing chemically forced. Nothing stressful for nature and plants. It’s a new concept that brings man closer to the earth and makes him part of its essentiality. We selected the products together with Gaetano, who reserved for us an exclusive that embellishes our virtual shelves; that sixth sense that every form of life has… its soul.
