What do we do for sustainability

In our onboarding of producers, one of the factors of attraction is the attention that the potential supplier puts on aspects of sustainability, to arrive over time to give their own ranking and thus provide the customer with a more conscious choice at the time of purchase.

Right from the start, we paid close attention to saving CO2 in the most technological aspects of the company, in the use of caching systems, in saving written code, in cleaning and resizing images. Even all the tools that consume energy are checked and sized to avoid waste.

We started by eliminating polystyrene and then moving on to saving the paper used in the order summary thanks to the (almost) paperless order. In the middle we have and continue to work on the sizing of packaging, on the control of shipments to avoid stocks or missed collections.

Let's not throw anything away! Everything that expires is sold through channels other than e-commerce and in 2023 we will reach the famous 'waste 0'.
